The North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad presents its 52nd annual Fish Fry on Saturday, October 30th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the North Myrtle Beach Primary School at 11th avenue north. Howl-O-Scream Saturday, Oct 30th from 5-8 pm at McLean Park in NMB. Open to all ages and free to the public, the Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with Coastal Carolina University's Recreation Management class converts McLean Park into a spooktacular site for an array of activities. The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce presents the annual "Endless Summer" Festival on Saturday, October 30th on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The festival will feature a host of arts and crafts vendors, food, and free "live" entertainment on stage. There's no admission charge and everyone is invited. The Festival will begin at 10 a.m. on the 30th.
Food and Supply Drive, a Car Wash to benefit The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach Saturday, October 30th from 9 am - 2 pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Bring the following items and have your car washed: dry dog and cat food, cat litter, pet shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, kitten/puppy chow and bleach. This is an Eagle Scout Project by Trever Duckworth.
Wednesday, November 10th is the date for the Annual Fish Fry for the benefit of Horry County abused and neglected children. It will be held in the old Hooters parking lot at 13th avenue north in North Myrtle Beach. The hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is only five dollars per plate. November 13th is the date for the 2nd Annual Calabash Antique and Classic Car Show. The event will feature trophies and prizes, food and fun. All classic, antique and specialty cars are welcome. The show begins at 9 a.m. in the heart of Calabash and it is presented by the Calabash Merchants Association.
